I'm looking forward to exploring new territory in fabric design. The kiddies' courses will go on for another month, though.Annikahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17419905799843743516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-806087906315812969.post-1099071015332645312013-04-07T21:13:23.792+03:002013-04-07T21:13:23.792+03:00Beautiful stitching, Annika. The sashiko thread I have that was imported from Japan is like a light kite string. You really can't see the twist. I think the pearle cotton would be a lovely substitue. It has a little sheen, while sashiko thread does not. Wishing you a less stressful and fun filled week.Jeanniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11367949314724875797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-806087906315812969.post-82777859454187259412013-04-06T17:26:14.786+03:002013-04-06T17:26:14.786+03:00Thanks Cheryl! Perle cotton nr 5 perhaps isn't the best choice, as the thread tends to untwist while I'm sewing, but it's ok. The red thread is coton a broder nr 25, and I use two strands in that project. I haven't been able to find real sashiko thread locally, unfortunately.Annikahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17419905799843743516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-806087906315812969.post-71116369347689250082013-04-06T16:49:05.925+03:002013-04-06T16:49:05.925+03:00These are so beautiful.
