Wet Christmas

This Christmas turned out to be a lot more wet than white. We've had strong winds, and the water level has kept on rising for days. At the moment we have water on three sides of the house. The house itself is fairly safe, but mum's flower bed is worse off.

The waves are approaching mum's flower bed

  1. As I type this the wind is howling at 59 mph and the holiday lights are bouncing on the tree boughs. There has been no snow since November. An odd weather year. Your parents area is very beautiful. I hope the sea stays out of the flower garden and you are having a wonderful time inside.

  2. Does it really matter? I know snow is associated with Christmas but rain is also good. Frankly I prefer rain over snow, thanks for sharing this post with us
